We will have our Annual Outdoor Service on Sunday, June 29th at 9:30 a.m.  Please bring your own lawn chairs.  Refreshments and fellowship will follow.

Join our “Friendship Trek”, where the Good News about Jesus, Our Forever Friend, is shared every day through sports and art!  VBS will be held August 4-7 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.  You can pre-register by calling the church office at 708-474-9610.

Join us on Saturday, August 16 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for our Annual Community Family Fun Night.  Come for dinner and stay for the fun.  We will have Pony Rides, Train Rides, Moon Walk and Games for all ages.  Hope to see you there.   

Join us for our annual Golf Outing on August 23, 2008 at Sherwood Golf Course in Schererville.  The planned start time is 12:30 p.m.  The cost will be $80.00 per person and will cover lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, great prizes at Fun Contest Holes and a great afternoon with friends.  The funds raised will be used for the new Elevator/Entrance addition.  Sign up sheets are located on the north bulletin board.

Come walk the red carpet, meet movie stars and have a chance to win your very own Oscar. Join us on Saturday, April 19th for our annual fund-raising dinner.

We’ll have chicken, pork, potatoes and more! Of course, games will be played and prizes will be given away. Come dressed as your favorite star and you can win an Oscar. Meet other stars like Cary Grant and Lucille Ball and many others. Come for fun, food and laughter!

Come join in worship with your fellow believers at the Community Palm Sunday Worship Service! It’s at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16 at Bethel CRC. Singing will be lead by Katie Kapteyn, Pastor Cal Aardsma will preach, and there will be a community choir. Bring your family and come worship the Lord!

The community is for adults and children ages 4 and up. If you’d like to be in the choir, the rehearsals are on Tuesdays, March 4 and March 11 at 7 p.m. at Bethel.

First Reformed Church of Lansing will host a Love and Respect video conference on Friday and Saturday, April 11th and 12th. Please visit the L&R page for more information.

The GEMS will be hosting our 22nd annual Soup Supper on Friday, March 7. Join us from 5 to 8 pm for five soups with crackers, bread, and homemade desserts. There will be not only great food, but also great fellowship. Bring the whole family! A free-will offering will be taken.

Celebrating God’s Love is the theme of our special evening service on February 24. A variety of music is planned. The Fellowship Task Force invites you to stay afterwards for a light lunch. If you’d like to sing in the choir please be at practice February 20 at 7:30 p.m. Men’s Chorus will rehearse after choir.

Angel Academy Preschool is now accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year. Please contact the preschool at (708) 895-6671 for more information or to register. Also, there are advertisement cards at the information centers for you to give to someone you know who may be interested in enrolling their child in a preschool for the fall.
