We are putting together a mission trip to Mexico this spring. Please contact Ken Vanderhye or Jerry Cassity if you are interested in going.

FIREPROOF is coming to First Reformed Church on Friday, February 20 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, February 21 at 6:30 pm. Admission is free. Childcare will be provided and refreshments will be served. For a preview of the movie please visit www.fireproofthemovie.com.

Legacy Five will be here in concert on Friday, May 15. More details will be coming soon.

Youth workers are invited to join us for the Time Out Retreat on February 23-24. Come and take advantage of being able to just take time for yourself to reconnect, refocus, and re-energize. Information available at www.manitoqua.org or by calling 815.469.2319.

The Fellowship Task Force is looking for new members to be of service to First Reformed Church. Anyone willing should contact Henry Triezenburg.

The Cadet Derby is scheduled for Friday, March 13th.

The dates for the Cadet Fundraising at Aurelio’s Pizza in Munster are March 24, 25, and 26.

Pastor Ken is leading “Faith Lessons on the Death and Resurrection of the Messiah”, a 10 week video series by Ray Vander Laan, filmed on location in Israel. Be a part of this great study!

We have 67 people signed up to go on mission trips to Mexico, Nashville and Alaska this summer.
We have a great need for prayer partners for each of these individuals. If you would be willing to uphold someone in prayer and give a note of encouragement, please contact Kathy Vander Heyden at 219.322.2722.

We are currently looking for a few items that will help us in our ministry. For the after-school club, we are in need of some kid’s games, puzzles and soft foam balls. The youth ministry is looking for a couple of used televisions to hook up VCR/DVD players and video games to. If you have any of these items and would be willing to donate them please contact Jim Smith or you can drop them off in his office. Thank you.
