Lansing Christian School will hold their 24th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, August 8 at the beautiful Briar Ridge Country Club in Dyer. 11:00 a.m. - Buffet luncheon, 12:30 p.m. - Shot gun start, 5:30 p.m. - Dinner and Awards program. For a donation of $500.00 or more, become a Corporate sponsor and for $250.00, sponsor a hole. For Golfers, a donation of $150 includes lunch, green fees, golf carts, prizes, appetizers and dinner. First Reformed Church and Medi-Mex will be taking a trip to Vicente Guerrero, Mexico in the fall. This will be a special trip because it will honor Harold "Beez" Biesboer. Please consider being a part of this mission outreach that will give recognition to a man who loved helping the poor of Mexico. More information will follow as it becomes available.
Bible League: Save the Date! Take a risk! Break from your normal routine! Plan to have an exciting day at a retreat on Saturday, September 17 at Christ Community Church in Lemont, IL or Thursday, September 22 at Cedar Lake Conference Grounds in Cedar Lake, IN. These will be awesome days of rejuvenating spiritually as you enjoy good fellowship, great music and a wonderful inspirational speaker, Dr. Carolyn Johnson. She is warm, approachable, relevant, scripturally grounded and has a passion for God's Word! You won't want to miss her! The evening concerts will be the Matthew Brothers on the 17th and Tribute Quartet on the 22nd.
