We will have our Annual Outdoor Service on Sunday, June 29th at 9:30 a.m.  Please bring your own lawn chairs.  Refreshments and fellowship will follow.

Join our “Friendship Trek”, where the Good News about Jesus, Our Forever Friend, is shared every day through sports and art!  VBS will be held August 4-7 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.  You can pre-register by calling the church office at 708-474-9610.

Join us on Saturday, August 16 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for our Annual Community Family Fun Night.  Come for dinner and stay for the fun.  We will have Pony Rides, Train Rides, Moon Walk and Games for all ages.  Hope to see you there.   

Join us for our annual Golf Outing on August 23, 2008 at Sherwood Golf Course in Schererville.  The planned start time is 12:30 p.m.  The cost will be $80.00 per person and will cover lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, great prizes at Fun Contest Holes and a great afternoon with friends.  The funds raised will be used for the new Elevator/Entrance addition.  Sign up sheets are located on the north bulletin board.

We have 67 people signed up to go on mission trips to Mexico, Nashville and Alaska this summer.
We have a great need for prayer partners for each of these individuals. If you would be willing to uphold someone in prayer and give a note of encouragement, please contact Kathy Vander Heyden at 219.322.2722.

We are currently looking for a few items that will help us in our ministry. For the after-school club, we are in need of some kid’s games, puzzles and soft foam balls. The youth ministry is looking for a couple of used televisions to hook up VCR/DVD players and video games to. If you have any of these items and would be willing to donate them please contact Jim Smith or you can drop them off in his office. Thank you.

Come walk the red carpet, meet movie stars and have a chance to win your very own Oscar. Join us on Saturday, April 19th for our annual fund-raising dinner.

We’ll have chicken, pork, potatoes and more! Of course, games will be played and prizes will be given away. Come dressed as your favorite star and you can win an Oscar. Meet other stars like Cary Grant and Lucille Ball and many others. Come for fun, food and laughter!

Riding season is about here. We’ll start our rides on the second Monday of every month starting April 14th. We’ll meet at church at 6:30 and leave at 6:45 p.m. If you have any questions, call Jim Dekker.

Monday night madness returns March 10th at 6:45 p.m. We’ll continue to explore our one-minute Bible and work on our Improving Your Serve project. We’ll wrap up at 8:30.

Pound Your Parents Night is coming again this April. Get ready for another great night of competition!

Join us next week, March 12th, as we continue in our series “Every Young Man’s/ Woman’s Battle”, practical help in the fight for sexual purity. We’ll begin at 7:00 p.m. in the garage.

Registration for Nashville is now open. Info packets are available from the clear mailboxes hanging in the east basement hallway by the bulletin boards. Registration will close on March 9. A registration fee of $100 will hold your spot.

Ministry Team will meat Sunday, March 9th at 7:00 p.m.
